The day its all started was around when my son turned three months old he started drooling and chewing on his hands....indicating the beginning stages of teething. A few weeks later he started having trouble sleeping and my once super happy baby turned into a little cranky machine! All of my friends with little ones teething started telling me about different teething remedies that they were using.
The baltic amber teething necklaces really stood out to me because of their all natural qualities. I'm not super crunchy but I also don't like giving un-necessary medication to my kids. I prefer to find a more natural approach to discomfort for them....that's not to say that I don't give him the occasional dose of baby Tylenol when he's really hurting. But, I love the way the Baltic Amber teething necklaces work.
From what I've heard and read, Baltic amber releases an oil that is a natural soother and pain reliever when the skin warms it. Now, this isn't an oil like what you imagine oil to be...no, my baby is not hanging out with an oily neck. I don't even notice any kind of residue...that's just what I read about how Baltic amber teething necklaces work.
Does it actually work? Honestly I don't know. I can't really ask my 7 month old son if he feels better when he wears the necklace. I can say we've had the necklace for about 4 months and he's not nearly as cranky as he was before. He still drools a lot but he's sleeping better and happy....so I'm going to assume that it's working. Even if it's not working it looks super cute on him! I received this at a discount in exchange of doing a review and giving my honest and unbiased opinion and this is just that strictly my opinion. #bornwildbaby
